Sometimes your boyfriend screams at you the night before, and then you just need to spend 40 dollars on phone charms.
That's not so bad right?

Dear Pretty Patriciana,
Please post some pictures of your vinyl toy collection, I know you have a bunch. Also I miss you. And your family. And Shan. Invite me over for dinner, I promise to dance the whole time.
Also, I just realized your mom and Shan can read this too (hi).

Scarlett Dawn Awesome.

the gorgeous sara farrell posted this on her livejournal, and I want anyone who is my friends list that isn't hers to read what she said. I am already voting Obama for women. I know "first woman in the white house" may rule amazingly hard, but her? She is not a representative of women.. She may have a long list of strong views, but feminism is not on that list. If she has any power of this country I am leaving. She is against abortion, even in cases of rape and incest. I don't even want to get into the fact that she has no problem making rape victims pay for rape kits, because I do not believe our house and senate would ever pass something like that nation wide; at least I hope they wouldn't.
I don't expect people to magically be for abortion or gay marriage, I understand we each have our different views. I stand by the "if you don't believe in abortion, don't have one" and "if you don't believe in gay marriage, well... don't have one" but I don't expect to turn anyone who feels otherwise, however sara has a point. we can't turn conservatives into liberals or feminists over night, nor do I think we need/want to. But I think anyone I am friends with can at least agree the economy is fucked right now. I don't know anyone who this doesn't effect, I know there are plenty of wealthy people out there who could care less, but I personally don't know any of them.
so without further ado, sara farrell's post:
"i cannot understand why you would vote republican. so many of you are in the same economic bracket as myself. the morals that barrack obama is representing may not match with yours, but john mccains morals actually limit my rights. obama would give people more rights, that we are entitled to as human beings, and giving those rights you may not agree with, would in no way affect how you as a person live your life. and for the financial aspect of it, if you look through history, a democratic economic plan has always benefited this country. the clinton administration finished with a surplus. in eight years, george bush not only burned through it, he put us almost 4 trillion dollars in debt. all of that is not made by the war. not even close. research. look online. about a trillion of that debt is from the war. i can't find 3 trillion dollars worth of spending from the bush administration, but somehow, it's gone. how does this even happen? but on a person to person financial basis, mccain is BAD for you. going back in history, you look at johnsons presidency, you look at how kennedy's would have been, giving more tax breaks for lower income citezins has helped the individual and the country. you have been misinformed if you still believe democrats are dying to raise your taxes. when you tax the rich moreso than the middle class and lower income, it makes it easier for the economy. but when you accumulate a debt like the one a republican president has given us over the past eight years, like so many republican presidents have done, you need to raise taxes to pay for that. they are bad for your taxes, not democrats. you can look at reagans adminstration, building a 200 million dollar debt every year bc of beefing up our military when it wasn't necessary, it was so irresponsible. our economy can't take more of this for four more years. do yourself a favor. if you haven't already, just look at history. look at what a republican president means for this country. you may not agree with a woman's right to choose, or a gay person's right to marry, or every person's right to free health care, or any of the other rights you don't want obama giving to this country. but at least he is not taking any of our rights away. morals are subjective. do what is right for your country, and vote for a better economy on tuesday."
